This course is for the photographers and photo enthusiasts out there that want to add an extra layer of “POP” into their photography! If you’re looking to learn how to light like a pro, then this Studio Lighting Workshop is for you!
Our expert instructor will teach you the fundamentals of lighting from basic technical knowledge, to creative techniques that really help you enhance the style or mood of your imagery.
What is Covered in the Studio Lighting Workshop:
- Fundamentals of lighting, set-up and safety.
- Studio equipment, modifiers, reflectors and gels.
- Pros & Cons of continuous vs. strobe lighting.
- Modifiers.
- Light fall-off.
- Metering and ratios.
- Key, fill and accent light.
- Portrait Lighting Patterns.
- Lighting set-ups and creative lighting techniques
Please Note: This workshop will not cover the fundamentals of your camera. You must be very comfortable and have a good working knowledge of your camera’s Manual Mode .
This is an advanced workshop with demo time where will cover lighting beginning with one strobe to using multiple strobes on set. If you are looking for a easier transition into lighting, Using Your Flash is a great workshop to take beforehand as it specifically covers working with one light.
COURSE REQUIREMENT: You will need to bring your own DSLR or Mirrorless camera with you to practice with for the class.
